Walk into Los Cuates on Yosemite Street and you're greeted by the smell of carne asada on the grill and fresh tortillas warming. Every plate is made to order.
"Cuates" means buddies, and that's how we treat everyone who comes through the door. A father and son run the kitchen, and our regulars are part of the family.
From breakfast burritos at 8 AM to weekend menudo and Salvadoran pupusas, there's something on the menu for every appetite. Come hungry.

Antonio Tobias is a Salvadoran-born business owner with more than 17 years of experience in the restaurant industry. After immigrating to the U.S., Antonio worked tirelessly to perfect his recipes and realize his dream of owning his own restaurant.
In December of 2020, in the heart of the pandemic, Antonio made that dream come true, opening Los Cuates Mexican Restaurant with his son Victor. Today the two of them cook side by side, serving the Mexican classics Denver loves alongside the Salvadoran dishes Antonio grew up with.
